The Manufacturing Technology Manager reports
to the Plant Manager ISO and is responsible for the Production,
Quality, and Process Engineering functions related to the ISO line to
achieve optimum manufacturing performance. The Manufacturing
Technology Manager provides formal objectives and measurements
for his direct reports. The Manufacturing Technology
Manager is responsible for meeting all safety, quality, service, and
cost goals for the ISO department. During the absence of the
Plant Manager ISO, this position will assume Plant Manager ISO
responsibilities.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited
to:
Effectively manage and drive continuous improvement in the
Health and Safety Programs, Production Capacity Improvements, Quality
& Process Improvements, Employee Involvement/Development and
Environmental Compliance.
Successfully execute the approved manufacturing plan to achieve
the mission, objectives and goals within established policies and
guidelines.
Responsible for planning, coordinating and directing
Production, Quality, and Process Engineering functions for the ISO
department to achieve department goals.
Responsible for the cost effective manufacturing of company
products, consistent with required quality standards, safe work
practices and effective housekeeping.
Establish and track raw material usage, production rates, and
quality data.
Create and maintain culture to identify and implement
continuous improvement ideas to the ISO line.
Establish strong Process Control culture with all direct
reports.
Build strong employee relations through open communications,
consistent application of policies and procedures and establishment
of a culture of empowerment.
Maintain compliance of safety standards, housekeeping and
personnel policies.
Achieve planned production attainment goals.
Aggressively seek cost reduction opportunities and means to
strengthen the organization.
Assist Plant Manager ISO with all manufacturing planning
activities.
Perform other duties as assigned by Plant Manager
ISO.
Requirements
A BS degree in engineering is required, with at least seven
years of demonstrated manufacturing experience. Five
years of supervisory experience with proven leadership and
teambuilding skills. The ideal candidate will possess a
strong commitment to safety. Proficiency with Microsoft Office
suite and advanced communication skills are required.
During plant start up, additional travel will be required for
training and project implementation. Must have ability to
work in the U.S. without current/future need for GAF visa
sponsorship.
