Job Description
This is a sales position called an Energy Consultant. The ideal candidate will meet with home owners that qualify for solar. This candidate will explain the renewable energy benefits, federal and state tax credit benefits, cost savings of owning instead of renting power from the power company to the homeowner. They will create new customer accounts and follow these accounts through installation.
Responsibilities
- Creating new customer accounts
- Presenting the benefits of owning solar
- Getting a copy of the customer's power bill to make sure solar makes sense for them
- taking photos of electrical panel and power meter
- setting up free site survey
Qualifications
- Prior sales experience a plus in the following industries:
door to door sales, event sales, pest control sales, solar sales, satellite and dish sales, real estate sales, financial planning, home alarm and smart home sales.
- Able to communicate well with customers
- Presentation skills a plus
- Need access to an iPad or iPhone
-Need reliable transportation
- Desire to advance with the company in a future leadership role
Additional Information
Vivint Solar, the 2nd largest residential solar company in the United States is looking for talented sales reps to join our sales team in southern Utah. This will be a 1099 commission only position, but there is opportunity to get paid $750 per week plus commissions for the first 8 weeks of training. We need sales reps immediately to work in Cedar City and St. George. We have a very generous commission plan and a great quarterly bonus for sales reps that have more than 7 installs per quarter. We just released our top sales reps numbers for the 1st quarter of this year and 10 of our sales reps got the highest quarterly bonus of over $31,000 on top of their regularly weekly sales commission.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
